Business Intelligence Manager
Do you want to help Silvan get even better to make data-driven decisions by building solid data solutions and reports? We are looking for a passionate BI Manager to build our BI setup to be best in class, conduct analysis and take an active role in developing automatically updated reports in our BI tool.
As BI Manager in Silvan, your primary focus will be on improve the data quality in the databases and enhance our BI interface. You will get the full responsibility for everything related to BI. We face a total reset of our BI landscape from A to Z, where you will play a leading role.
Since we want to improve our BI and use it much more than we do today, you will be involved in all business functions of Silvan and moreover you will be a very valued partner to the whole organization including the top management.
The responsibilities in the role are very broad but the key foundation is a very strong analytical and data-driven approach. You will be a part of the Controlling team where you get colleagues with great analytical mindset. This exciting and challenging role will be an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to further grow and develop BI, financial understanding, and expertise.

Main responsibilities
- Improve our databases and enhance our BI-tool for both front-end and back-end (Targit).
- Be the anchor person in Silvan for big data analysis.
- Develop and maintain reports, analysis and KPI’s in our BI-tool.
- Ensure consistent high quality in the reporting.
- Update and follow up on financial and operational reports.
- Support our forecasting and budget processes by developing BI solutions.
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree in IT, BI or Finance coupled with strong IT skills.
- 3-5 years of experience working with data modelling and data governance.
- Experience with both front-end and back-end development.
- Solid experience with extracting data from ERP-systems (SQL or other coding), ideally paired with working experience with the BI-tool Targit.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with good presentation and communication skills.
- Good understanding of financial processes.
- Strong interest in the connection between IT and Finance and thereby an ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Great language skills in English – both spoken and written.
