Due to increased demand for our innovative and intelligent solutions, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
With direct reference to our Maintenance Manager, you will become a part of Operation Production Technology and a team consisting of 9 colleagues, who work with operational maintenance and optimisation of production equipment within electricity, control, regulation and mechanics. Our primary responsibility is to ensure that methods, structures and processes are trimmed at all times to achieve optimal production of intelligent energy- and water meters, as well as ensuring stable operation of the production equipment. Furthermore, we continuously implement new products and technologies. The everyday tone is informal, and sparring across the department is a natural part of every day.
A job with focus on maintenance and optimisation
In the newly established position of Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for driving optimisation projects as well as technical solutions for our production equipment in order to minimise stop- and cycle times, as well as improving the product quality. Furthermore, you will participate in interdisciplinary work regarding maintenance development across Kamstrup, thereby also contributing to forming Kamstrup’s future maintenance processes.
More specifically, your tasks will revolve around the maintenance strategy, including:
Personality matters
You have a background as a marine engineer, production engineer or similar, and a good mechanical understanding. Whether you have a few years of experience or are newly graduated is not essential. The most important thing is that you have a flair for and are passionate about working with technical solutions and driving projects from idea to finished product.
As a person you are curious and show initiative, and you are not afraid of challenging the status quo through your optimisation approach, which can improve the quality in our production. You are flexible, result-oriented and you like to solve complex problems independently while still being a team-player who appreciates good collaboration and knowledge-sharing across departments. Furthermore, you pride yourself on ensuring high quality in your work, which will ensure optimal production. You achieve all this through your systematic and detail-oriented approach to your work. As you will have a central role in our maintenance department, it is furthermore important that you are extroverted and thrive in a role with many concurrent tasks.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken.

- Ensure that the production equipment is properly maintained and performs optimally
- Alignment of spare parts including forecasting and implementation across factories
- Standardisation and executing on maintenance plans
- Translate projects to concrete initiatives, including giving feedback to the strategy group
- Sparring about the maintenance strategy
- Standardisation of technical coordination of tasks to support our technical coordinators
