With direct reference to our Head of Supplier Quality & Compliance, you will become part of our quality team in Sourcing which is a small, skilled, and ambitious team consisting of 4 colleagues. Together, we are covering Kamstrup’s supplier quality, compliance management, and functions and aim to support the organization with continuously delivering quality products, solutions & services as perceived by the customer and in accordance with our strategic direction.
A job with focus on supplier relations and quality
As our new Supplier Quality & Compliance Manager you will become the driving force in proactively ensuring quality and compliance in our supplier base, both regarding existing and new suppliers. This includes ensuring that the suppliers have the needed capabilities and certifications, related to our products and requirements. In this role, your focus will be on suppliers, related items, and services within electronics, including PCBs, PCBAs, components and accessories. You will be entrusted with overseeing the global supplier base, working in close conjunction with regional Supplier Compliance Managers, to enhance the quality management of suppliers across various regions.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:

Personality matters
We are looking for a persistent Supplier Quality & Compliance Manager who can contribute to the continued success of Kamstrup through a data-driven approach and an understanding of cultural aspects and differences. We imagine that you have an academic background, within engineering or quality, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience working within supplier quality and development. Furthermore, you have insights into relevant ISO- and IPC standards, IATF 16949, and core tools, as well as VDA 6.3. You are experienced in an international setting and have a good understanding of product and process requirements, as related to design documentation. It is an advantage if you have an Auditor education - Auditor/Lead Auditor ISO 9001 certificate.
As a person you possess great interpersonal skills allowing you to build strong relations where you enjoy collaborating with stakeholders internally and externally. With your excellent communication skills, you can engage with suppliers both on-site as well as online. You have a structured approach to your work, and you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can handle ongoing tasks and navigate through change, both independently and as part of a team.
It is a requirement that you can speak and write English and Danish fluently.

- Auditing and assessing new and existing suppliers’ Quality Management Systems
- Monitoring and following up on supplier quality performance and development, while ensuring continuous improvement
- Reviewing and evaluating PPAP documentation
- Managing Supplier Due Diligence, including CSR, Sustainability, and Information Management
- Establishing quality agreements with suppliers in cooperation with Sourcing Managers and Operational Quality
- Engaging in risk management and Category Management, related to suppliers
- Managing escalated supplier claims/non-conformances
