Strategic Pricing Manager to TDC NET – Copenhagen


Are you an Expert in developing frameworks, principles, and models for Pricing, and do you want to use your skills in a dynamic organization in the middle of a fundamental transformation, with a unique market position? Do you want to engage with and support multiple stakeholders across the organization, and be exposed to the Senior Executive Management, where you support the Commercial strategies and execution with Pricing strategies that balance risks and rewards? The role as Strategic Pricing Manager is newly rescoped, because of TDC NET’s ambitions about building frameworks, principles, and standardized models for Pricing that are tangible and easily adaptable for the Commercial business areas. Next to this, you also oversee and drive the Executive Price Board and Product Portfolio Board. In short, you are exposed to business-critical areas, where your decision and guidance help grow the business.

You report to the Head of Commercial & Business Management, and where you have 10 engaged colleagues that besides Product Portfolio and Pricing strategies work with Sales Support, Demand & Supply Forecasting, and Commercial Development Projects. The role is located in TDC NET’s HQ in Copenhagen.

The Job

It is an exciting time for TDC NET as they are in a process of shaping the company as an independent entity. Based on this there is a great opportunity to directly influence various processes, models, and tools for Pricing – and not least, how these are executed in the business. The Pricing projects concern both new products, and repricing in connection with price increases, and the like. You interact closely with the business, where you drive various boards, provide support and advice in product development projects, and much more. The primary tasks include:

  • Develop and standardize an overall Pricing framework.
  • Own and drive the Executive Price Board (incl. CCO, CFO, and Head of Regulatory).
  • Own and drive the Product Portfolio Board, where product development decisions are made.
  • Manage large scale Pricing projects together with the Commercial management team.
  • Own and revise Pricing governance.
  • Oversee and develop the agenda for new Pricing methodologies and approaches.
  • Participate as Pricing SME in various product development projects.

The Profile

We are looking for a Strategic Pricing Manager, who combines a sharp mind and an analytical toolbox, with a “can do” attitude; in other words, you, who possess excellent stakeholder relationship skills and can convince others to use tools and processes, not because they have to, but because it makes sense. In your work and your Pricing projects, you can conceptualize, communicate, and simplify complexities, and in your execution, you have action-consequence mindset. In an organization, you can act, interact, and communicate at all levels, and you thrive in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment.

Professionally, we are looking for you with Pricing under your skin, and you, who for at least 3-5 years have specialized in Pricing. Industry experience is less important – more importantly, you have worked with Products and Pricing, where there has been optionality, and where you have been exposed to Senior Management levels. You master English fluently,in speech and writing, and you have strong presentation skills and know your way around in Excel and PowerPoint.
