An important role in securing coherent programme planning
DSB is currently making investments to secure a sustainable and attractive alternative to cars, busses, and planes. The procurement of the new electrical trainsets is the largest in DSB history, and in the transformation from the old diesel fuelled trains to electric rolling stock DSB is also building and remodelling maintenance facilities for the new fleet.

In hiring a Programme Planner, we wish to further emphasize on planning across the new trains, new facilities, and derived organizational change projects, which constitutes the New Trains Programme.
Establishing a programme plan emphasizing dependencies and interlocking milestones
You will mainly be allocated to the New Trains Programme. We offer an important role and great responsibility in designing, establishing, and maintaining a programme plan, which is both manageable, coherent, communicable, and most importantly enabling teamwork and alignment between the projects. Based on the preliminary work of creating a programme plan your job will be to design and build the plan and the processes surrounding it to be able to give the Programme Management Board and projects the best possibilities of monitoring and decision making regarding the programme and its progress.
Simultaneously you will assist some of the projects in relation to best practice within planning – both theoretically, practically, and technologically – and with your experience within complex project and portfolio planning you will aid with design and maintenance of e.g., a transition plan and portfolio plans of the organizational change projects.
The specific tasks:
There is a possibility of being responsible for the development and standardization of the planning practice and methods across the large procurement projects and programmes.
Programme, portfolio, and project planner with advanced technical skills and a good understanding of processes
We are looking for someone with a solid experience within planning of complex projects and programmes –for instance within procurement or construction.

The Team

Most of your colleagues will be working in the major project and programmes, just as you will be mainly allocated to the New Trains Programme. Thus, you will have both PMO colleagues with similar planning professions and your day-to-day colleagues in the projects.

- Have documented experience with designing and establishing project and portfolio/programme plans
- Have a solid knowledge of best practice methods and tools – including extensive knowledge of MS Project Professional and Primavera
- Can develop processes for monitoring, controlling, and reporting on progress, which accommodate the needs of the Programme Management with consideration to the time of the project members involved.
