There is a need for a new framework for supplier and customer quality, therefore the Customer & Supplier Quality Engineer will play a key role in assuring that solid processes for customer and supplier quality are defined and implemented accordingly. You will be part of a regional restructuring of the quality organization with the setup of strong quality functions where you have the possibility to develop own role and grow within the company.
Responsible for defining tools and processes
As Customer & Supplier Quality Engineer you are responsible for Cimbria's efforts in setting up the dedicated function of supplier and customer quality management in the region. Further, you will be responsible for defining tools and processes that help managing customer and supplier claims. In addition, you will assist with problem solving to close claims with the desired outcome.
Your primary tasks are:
To succeed in the job you will have to make processes transparent, secure Supplier OTIF (On-Time In Full), handle warranty costs and supplier quality costs, handle customer SCOT (Shipped Complete On-time), and build the relevant framework.
Great inter-cultural communicator
You have a technical education and at least 2-5 years of business experience within quality management from a similar position in a project/manufacturing company. It is a requirement, that you can communicate in English in writing and speaking, and if you master another language, it would be a benefit. To secure the best supplier and customer experience it is a prerequisite that you are a great inter-cultural communicator with interest in collaborating across sites and departments. You like the customer contact and communicate with political flair towards both own organization and customers. Education and training of employees is a natural part of your job, and you understand and can make an overall assessment of suppliers, as well as prepare presentations to management.
Your colleagues would describe you as a person who can define and pursue goals in both the short and the long term, and with the ability to balance between providing space and step into character when necessary. With a solid portion of energy, you can cope with peaks in workload and make quick but qualified decisions with a pragmatic approach to development. You are also able to focus on the details without losing the big picture. You have good faith in own abilities and are an emotionally stable and self-controlled person.

- Driving the set-up of the dedicated function of supplier and customer quality management in the region
- Adopt and implement AGCO Group processes and tools in customer and supplier quality management for Cimbria sites in the region
- Drive problem-solving in processing of customer & supplier claims and ensure that both an adequate solution is made, and corrective actions are initiated
- Drive process definition and ensure communication in the organisation about customer claim handling
- Monitor customer and supplier quality performance KPI’s and make sure to initiate corrective actions
- Develop the customer/supplier quality management system in collaboration with other AGCO companies
- Preparation and support in quality audits (customer/supplier) as well as follow-up on corrective actions
