We cover all phases of on- and offshore wind, photovoltaic (PV) solar and Power-to-X projects, from greenfield development to construction, operation, and in some cases, divestment of assets. Our company of 450+ employees has since 2004 installed more than 2 GW of renewable energy and has a pipeline of 40+ GW. As our new Project Manager (“PM”), you will be responsible for wind and solar PV projects in Italy during the development phase, from origination (internal project development) or screening (project acquisition) to financial close and handover to the EPC Manager. The PM will also have the responsibility for assessing the project’s techno-economic feasibility, preparing presentations, financial modelling and evaluating the project’s economic viability and investment potential for the internal project approval process. Moreover, the PM will be responsible for coordinating the project contracts (land, development, etc.) with the support of the the legal department and to coordinate the permitting process (third parties co-development or internal) with the support of the technical manager.

You will report to the Head of Development, Italy and assist in handling all key commercial and technical stakeholders during the project development phase, optimizing the project technically and commercially for the financial close and handover to the EPC Manager.

You will also be responsible to keep the project data room updated, prepare, and monitor the project time schedule and track the project costs vs. budget, with the support of a Project Assistant.

• Contract negotiation and management
• Financial modeling

Requirements:

• Bachelor or master at university level or an equivalent institution within engineering, economics, etc.
• At least 5 years work experience
• Experience with the wind and solar PV energy industry in Italy during the development phase
• PMI project management certificate or similar
• Fluent Italian and professional English
• Good leadership skills
