Do you have what it takes to develop, motivate and lead a team of talented and highly skilled SCADA engineers? Are you motivated by leading a team who will take MHI Vestas’ SCADA projects to the next level?
As Head of SCADA Engineering, you will lead a team of approx.12 dedicated SCADA Engineers and Specialists, mainly located in Aarhus, Denmark, but your work location is flexible and can be either Aarhus, DK, Utrecht, NL, or Warrington, UK.
Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
…be managing and developing the SCADA department and its employees. You will be overall responsible for SCADA projects, incl. accurate project supply and personnel resource availability as well as ensuring the project roadmap for SCADA and Wind Power Plant products. It will also be your responsibility to ensure internal and external security compliance.
You will be responsible for:
Managing and developing the SCADA department and its employees Participating in internal contract reviews Conducting customer meetings and collecting input for continuous product development Participating in technical meetings with Vestas for SCADA and IT Infrastructure Ensuring cooperation with the internal IT, Sales and Operations departments Identifying required training and development for internal SCADA Specialists Supporting the joint venture (MHI and Vestas) with product technical observations Task delegation to internal SCADA team members Supporting and working with company objective strategies
Skills & experience: Our new colleague…
…has a track record of excellent people management skills and good knowledge of project management and value chain understanding. It is important that you are technically and commercially competent, have knowledge of electrical engineering or a background in the automation industry and experience with SCADA and IT infrastructures. As a person, you have good communication and stakeholder management skills, and you can motivate your employees and create a positive, high-performance team.
