Do you want to make a difference by ensuring that the green transition can take place without major accidents? Then this is the place to apply your knowledge and curiosity to enable a better tomorrow.

Together we shape the future

[xxxxx]'s team of risk specialists are experts in advising on reducing the risk of major accidents. We do this, among other things, by structured identification of risks, calculation of possible hazard distances, identification and assessment of risk reduction measures, and calculation and assessment of the overall risk to people and environment. We are a diverse team of engineers with various educational backgrounds, experience, and country of origin.
Our customers are typically companies processing or storing hazardous substances, as well as companies engaged in the transport of hazardous substances in pipelines, roads, and railways. Our projects vary between large and small assignments for local, national, or international clients. In addition, we regularly advise authorities that handle risk companies. Currently, we are involved in a wide range of projects within Power-to-X, e.g. hydrogen, green fuels/e-fuels, biogas, and CO₂ capture and storage.

For our risk analysis team in Lyngby and Aarhus, we are looking for a risk specialist with a background such as process engineer or similar.
As a risk specialist your work/responsibilities will be:

  • Facilitate hazard identification workshops (HAZID, What-If, HAZOP analysis) – we provide training on the job if needed, but you should at least have participated in similar workshops.
  • Define scope and provide input to consequence and risk analysis modelling, participate in model development. Knowledge of PHAST/Safeti is a plus.
  • Develop safety strategies for process facilities and ensure their implementation.
  • Carry out risk analyses and prepare safety reports.
  • Project management of own tasks incl. customer contact

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.
To succeed in this position, we believe you need to have an analytic mindset and a solid understanding of chemical process design. Along with this, you are committed to your tasks with good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Furthermore,

  • You to have a higher education in chemical engineering, process engineering or similar.
  • Several years of experience from the chemical industry, energy, oil & gas, or biotech.
  • It is important that you are good at creating relationships with customers and your colleagues in [xxxxx].

  • English and Scandinavian language proficiency required.
