At WS Audiology, Operations Management is the administration of business practices to create the highest level of efficiency possible within our organization. Located in our CO2 neutral HQ north of Copenhagen, Lynge, you will undertake the responsibilities to lead Global Ops strategic projects assigned to achieve the strategic goals and Value Capture Plan (VCP), with initial focus on optimizing and automating product packaging
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to Global Vice President, Operations Strategic Development, you will:
- Project manage from building business case/ economic analysis; develop project budget and plan; form project team and align with measure owner; assess risks and identify mitigation strategy; stakeholder management; project execution; tracking and reporting to achieve timely completion meeting its goals and budget with the highest quality.
- Build subject matter expertise for WS Audiology by reducing, reusing and recycling packaging materials costs through optimizing manufacturing, logistics and transportation costs.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all global packaging and hazardous materials storage and transportation regulations, Quality Management System and processes, Management Policy and Quality Goals.
- Work with Product Marketing, R&D, Global Advanced Engineering, Regulatory & Compliance, Supply Chain and Logistics teams from new product introduction till the end of product phase, to effect safe, secure, efficient and economical design for transportation and handling.
- Keep abreast on the market best practices, share experiences across the network to proactively align and synergize related projects.
You
- Degree holder from an established tertiary institution, with experience in electronics / medical device / technology and / or related background.
- 8-10 years of project management experience, with 3-5 years of success in leading packaging and automation types of project implementation a plus.
- Exposure to manufacturing processes, operations finance including and not limited to the packaging segment will be a bonus.
- Knowledge in global transport and warehousing environment for air, courier/postal, truck and ocean freight will be advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years of leading a cross-functional and cross-cultural team globally will be ideal.
- Expertise in packaging engineering for medical device and electronic parts will be preferred.
- Bias towards action and results delivery which are critical in a highly performance-oriented environment; passion for quality and efficiency and a strong “can-do” attitude.
- Distinct credentials to drive results by taking a proactive medium- and long-term view of goals and objectives.
- Display strong communication, engagement, influence and stakeholder management skills in fluent English and Danish, to work with people across all levels and seniority.
- Good computer skills, specifically using Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Strong analysis capability with financial data.
