Are you looking for an exciting hands-on learning opportunity to supplement your studies? Join us as an intern in Novo Nordisk and get an opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues from many different nationalities within various fields. The working hours are flexible from min. 18 to max. 37 hours a week enabling you to combine an internship with lectures at university, project work or writing your bachelor / master’s thesis. It is an opportunity for a unique learning experience and a chance to turn theories into practice.

About the department

You get the opportunity to join Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) in Hillerød. You will be part of our Project Management Office, where we are responsible for Project Portfolio Management, Project Governance and Project Execution for the whole site.Our challenge is to execute an increasing portfolio of diverse projects implementing the solutions with minimum impact of the ongoing production. You will join a dynamic team and ambitious employees with various backgrounds within project management striving for excellence.

The position

You will support the project managers in relation to execution of projects, where you will assist in updating of plans and follow up on project execution. This is a great opportunity to get hands on experience on project execution of large and complex projects and get familiar with running projects in an environment where every hour of production counts. Furthermore, you will assist us in keeping track of our portfolio across the site and you will work in close collaboration with the associate manager and other project managers.

  • Internship period: 4-6 months, with option for extension to 12 months
  • Working hours: Flexible (min. 18 and max. 37 hours a week)
  • Start date: 01-Sep-2020
  • Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full time work permit is required

Qualifications

We are looking for an intern with a passion for project planning and execution. You are currently studying for your bachelor or master’s degree in a relevant field. We expect you to master both English and Danish, verbally as well as in writing, and that you have the skills to handle a large volume of tasks and projects (with supervision) and the sound personal judgment to make wise decisions. Strong skills in MS PowerPoint and understanding of MS Projects is an advantage. As a person, you are outgoing with a strong personal drive and dedication. Your strong interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relations across professions and geography, and you bring a healthy sense of humor to your work – even when the pressure is on. We expect you to be service minded, that you thrive in a busy environment and that you are great at focusing on solutions and opportunities.
