The position Contract Manufacturing, Sourcing, Devices and Sustainability (CSDS) has oversite of all global Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO) for Novo Nordisk. As demand and complexity increases in our product portfolio, our external production network has become a key strategic focus to cater for our unprecedented growth. As Senior Programme Manager, your role focuses on driving global standardization of end-to-end supply chain processes across CMOs and uniting our manufacturing network. In this role, you will serve as a trusted business partner to steer the organization and have a significant influence across business areas. Your main responsibilities include:
  • Mapping the current state of CMO operations and segment focus areas according to criticality
  • Defining scope, ambitions, deliverables and standardising approach for both central and local supply chain teams
  • Agreeing delivery standards with Subject Matter Experts across the organization, securing buy-in. & leading implementation
  • Collaborating closely with our IT organization to secure new standards are successfully integrate digital tools and systems
  • Anchoring new operating standards in the organization through governance, communication, training, and documentation.
    • Qualifications To succeed in this role, we imagine you:
  • Qualified to a minimum of bachelor’s degree within a relevant field of study combined with applied experience in project management, management consulting, or business partnering with international organisations.
  • Demonstrate strong functional expertise in supply chain, outsourcing and/or CMOs management from an end-to-end perspective.
  • Have a track record in large scale change management and the ability to communicate complexity in simple terms to facilitate decision-making.
  • Possess the capacity to foster collaboration cross functionally by inspiring others.
  • Show fluency in English at a business level both written and spoken.

About the Department Contract Manufacturing & Sourcing, Devices & Sustainability (CSDS) is an area with more than 2,400 employees spanning Denmark, Japan, Algeria, Iran, and Russia. CSDS is responsible for device, needle, contract and local manufacturing, as well as sourcing and sustainability across Product Supply. You will join CSDS Business Support as Sr. Programme Manager and contribute to the creation of a newly established Supply Chain function supporting CSDS business areas to accomplish their goals across short, mid and long-term planning horizons.
