What you will be doing
As a SAP BTP specialist, you will play an important role in designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP BTP solutions for Global Finance. SAP BTP will be a key foundation for future SAP solutions in Novo Nordisk as it is an enabler of good user experience (UX) and integrates with S/4HANA and non-SAP data sources.Currently, we are expanding our SAP Finance capabilities as we replacing our ECC platform to SAP S/4 HANA. This will affect all of our SAP functions, and we need to anchor the right capabilities and capacity in our Agile setup, as well as in our SAP Development & Global Integration area, to ensure a good transition. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in SAP BTP to help shape our digital transformation journey, and where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimise processes, and drive business outcomes.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Develop and implement SAP BTP solutions aligned with LoB business objectives and strategies.
• Provide technical guidance on SAP BTP architecture, design, and best practices
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and design solutions to meet business needs
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and trends in the SAP BTP ecosystem to enhance our business capabilities
• Perform system troubleshooting, debugging, testing and optimisation to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Champion best practices in SAP BTP development, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of applications.
What we are looking for
For this role, we imagine that you have significant technical insight into SAP Finance and Controlling as well as SAP BTP. In addition, we see that our new colleague will be able to tick most of the following boxes:
• Extensive hands on experience with Business Technology Platform and cloud applications
• Experience designing and programming applications in hybrid environments
• Good communication skills to effectively communicate and facilitate an involving and constructive dialogue with a wide range of stakeholders
• A collaborative mindset, and a willingness to support and spar with other members of the R2R team
• Preferably, you will have good knowledge of finance processes
• Preferably, you have knowledge of Fiori
• Preferably, you will have knowledge of agile ways of working (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, kanban etc).On a personal level, you demonstrate agility and adapt well to change. You have good stakeholder management skills, balancing the needs of the business while guiding on best practices. You are devoted to creating an inclusive culture, helping your colleagues, and engaging in team activities.
