As Project Manager, you are responsible for scoping new projects covering both Primary Packaging and Raw Material, managing multiple stakeholders across Product Supply. You will have the opportunity to influence the role and contribute to building the NPE project portfolio. Together with your NPE PM colleagues you will build new tools and standards for how to work with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk who are planning transfer of new projects to our business area, where you are to take the lead of communicating all relevant aspects and risks of the projects enabling management to prioritise and allocate resources to the projects. Your role involves driving the projects until entering the execution phase, at which point it will be handed over to a project manager and a project team will be established. Due to the strategic nature of the projects, you will interact with senior leadership both at headquarters as well as across the manufacturing network. As the role is new, you will take part in defining it in cooperation with your colleagues and management. Your key responsibilities include: Evaluating new products entering our business area, developing solid project plans and conducting risk assessments and resource estimates Identifying key stakeholders, proactively engaging and challenging them in dialogue across the business area Guiding a project team consisting of diverse professional standpoints and varying global departments/areas Designing and implementing the new supply chain setup required to achieve the project objectives Communicating project progress and performance to all relevant stakeholders and promptly addressing issues with management Qualifications To be considered for this position, we believe you: Hold a master’s degree in engineering, natural science, supply chain, business administration, or a related field Possess a minimum of 3 years of proven project management experience in a complex stakeholder environment Demonstrate expertise in change management with a holistic approach, promoting effective communication across all levels Thrive in a dynamic environment and quickly adapt to changing circumstances Showcase fluency in both written and spoken English Being familiar with GMP requirements for the pharmaceutical industry will be considered a plus. On a personal level, you work in a structured manner and take ownership of your assignments, applying a self-driven and strategic mindset. With your analytical and problem-solving skills, you can effectively evaluate different solutions. You are curious, proactive, and eager to learn, which you use to motive your colleagues with a positive and forthcoming attitude. Lastly, you possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills that enables you to build strong relationships across the organisation. About the department
You will join a team of experienced project managers in Material Manufacturing Development in Product Supply, Sourcing Operations, which consists of approximately 140 employees organised into 4 departments spanning two sites (Bagsværd and Hillerød): RAW, Primary Packaging, Analytical Development, and CMO Material Support. The position is in the Primary Packaging department. Today, RAW and Primary Packaging are situated in Bagsværd, but will be moving to Taastrup in December 2024. In Material Manufacturing Development, we are responsible for the development, implementation, and management of complex materials (raw materials, excipients, Primary Packaging, CMO materials, etc.) from use in development to production and we maintain documentation on existing materials.
