Our area and projects are expanding and there is a need for an experienced Portfolio Controller to handle a portfolio of CAPEX investment projects in close partnership with various stakeholders across our organisation. As our new Portfolio Controller team member, you will be responsible for managing financials within direct project execution.
Your daily responsibilities can vairy depending on your profile but will include: Collect, consolidate and analyze portfolio/project cost data Liaise with the Investment Finance function to establish expectations and deliverables Perform monthly portfolio forecasting and provide input to bi-annual budget submissions Implement, conduct, and maintain regular review meetings Maintaining, developing, monitoring, and executing cost controls in close collaboration with your stakeholders/project manager Dive into financial data, risk assessments to uncover trends and variances, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making Drive the efforts on portfolio/project cost control including commitments against budget, analysis support of cost status and forecasting Qualifications
To thrive in this position, you preferably hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Project Management, Business Development or alike.
Moreover, you have: Minimum 5+ years’ experience in investment projects as portfolio/project controller. Track record of working with project management methodologies. Track record and solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, risk management and financial reporting. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Fluency in both written and verbal English. Proficiency in Danish is an advantage. As an individual, you are curious to learn and attentive to details. You possess flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities enable you to tackle challenges effectively. You demonstrate the unique capacity to work independently and take initiative, while also being an invaluable team player. About the department
As part of PSQIT organisation, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Product & Process Development makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a “can do” mind-set.
CMC Investment Project Office manages the investment project portfolio in CMC Product & Process Development. We are a team of approx. 7 colleagues, based in Bagsværd Denmark. Our responsibilities include project management support, capex portfolio management and project controlling.
