Global Safety Operations (GSO) Established Products II is looking for a new great colleague to join our team. GSO is a team within the LEO Pharma Global Safety (GS) organisation located at LEO Pharma’s head quarter in Ballerup (Copenhagen Area), Denmark.
LEO Pharma has embarked on a very ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner – and that is why we need you. As a Senior Global Safety Specialist you will become a key player in making our vision come true.
Ensure high quality case handling and maintenance of PV processes, systems and documents
As Senior Global Safety Specialist your primary focus is to make sure that overall PV processes are maintained and optimised in order to submit/distribute case reports according to PV legislation and to maintain a high compliance in relation to legislation in general worldwide.
Your primary tasks will be:
Handle case reports from data entry to submission/distribution Manage the shared GS mailbox in regards to PV enquiries, overall triage of incoming cases etc. Become Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or more designated area(s) Participate in projects relevant for your SME area(s) Perform and plan training of colleagues within GS as well as stakeholders outside of LEO Pharma head quarter e.g. affiliates and partners
Cooperation across borders and teams
We are wishing for a senior candidate with 3+ years of experience within pharmacovigilance (PV).
Your background can be as a registered nurse, pharmacist or other relevant educational background within health science. You must possess solid analytical skills in order to interpret data and you must have the ability to communicate complex medical terminologies in a logical and easy understandable way, written and verbally, in English at academic level.
A vital path to your success in LEO Pharma will be your ability to establish strong relations to a large number of people internally and externally. As you will have many contacts across geographies, professions and cultures, you must have an open-minded approach, including the ability to understand a challenge from the perspective of the person you interact with. It must be a natural part of your personality to take proactive action when needed and ensure a solid completion of your task at hand.
