For our Offshore Technology Development Department in Brande, Denmark we are looking for a technology portfolio project manager to support the cross functional projects and to manage the portfolio of exploration activities within the department.

How to contribute to our vision

Technology is key to reduce the cost of energy to our customers. As a technology portfolio project manager you will contribute to our target of meeting our customers’ performance and cost expectations towards our wind turbines and wind power plants. Based on the technology roadmap you will run different cross functional projects that needs collaboration between different departments within Technology development.

Our department is responsible for the structural integrity, design of new technology and technology development of different technologies for blades, bearings Electrical Drive train and loads and control.

Furthermore you will be the project manager for our portfolio of exploration activities.

You will work closely with our Technology Development departments in which new

technologies are designed, developed, matured and tested, and various other departments of our Offshore business.

You will maintain the following responsibilities:

  • Technology Project Portfolio overview
  • Status overview of both project and portfolio
  • Responsible for Technology Portfolio meetings (and project start-ups)
  • Support and communicate with internal and external stakeholders

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for a team player and a natural networker with the ability to work with many and different stakeholders within a complex business – building strong relationships. It is natural for you to think ahead and to create results by having experts with different technical competences work together in the frame set by you.

Excellent English skills both orally and in writing are a must in the international team, and it is of highest importance that you are able to communicate your results in a clear and convincing manner. Furthermore, you have a structured approach to your assignments, and have a sound technical and commercial understanding. You are driving your work independently.

You easily keep an overview of multiple topics and can set the way forward in a project to ensure a clear target amongst the multiple possibilities of technology development. You thrive in a multi-cultural environment and like working in large organizations

To be successful in this role you furthermore:

  • hold a Bachelor engineering with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience within project management.
  • are outgoing and proactive, and you possess the ability to work both independently and in teams
  • are analytical, structured and self-motivated
  • thrive in a cross-functional, international setting and understand team dynamics
