To lead service delivery in relation to all aspects of the Inspection contract including managing the relationship with our client, project management, planning and execution of work scopes, monitoring key performance indicators and maximising revenue.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and monitor the contract budgets and costs.
- Manage negotiations with the Customer where any variations and changes to contract carry commercial implications.
- Manage and monitor the selection and requisition of all plant, equipment and materials on the contract.
- Communicate the progress, variations and costs of the contract to the customer and company management and suggest improvements and efficiencies.
- Assist in preparing of pre-tender evaluations and in the preparation of tender submissions as required.
- Provide commercial and contractual support to Commercial coordinator/analysts as and when required.
- Supports commercial and finance departments in the preparation of valuations and invoices and the resolution of commercial disputes.
- Ensure that all client expectations are delivered, identifying and reacting to shortfalls in customer service.
- Cultivate and develop good customer relations, following customers’ enquiries and demands promptly
- Plan, and monitor the requisition and expedition of all resource requirements including material, equipment and personnel (including subcontractor services).
- Ensure co-ordination of shipments to worksite through logistics department.
- Liaise with the HR Team to assist in the recruitment, induction and deployment of personnel.
- Undertake assessments of team members using appropriate standards of competence.
- Manage all aspects of Industrial Relations and discipline within the team.
- Ensure that all appraisals are conducted for all staff / operatives / supervision under his control in accordance with company requirements
- To act as the focal point for all company activities associated with the implementation of maintenance, engineering and project support to ensure that all Client and Company’s operational, commercial and HSEQ expectations and targets are met.
- Oversee the planning of the contract and specific work scopes.
- Prepares project status reports as per company and client requirements.
- Communicate team goals and promote high standards of workmanship and customer service.
- Manage all activities including those of sub-contractors.
- Monitor all activities to ensure compliance with relevant HSEQ Procedures, cost and schedule control.
- Provide technical support to offshore and onshore teams across all disciplines.
- Attend project kick-off meetings.
- Liaise with client’s engineers to gain knowledge of future projects.
- Raise CTR’s for all offshore activities.
- Ensure that all plant and equipment under his control is maintained in a safe working.
- Attends any training and safety courses as instructed by the Company.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Proven track record in a similar role.
- Experience in fast paced work environment
- On and Offshore experience within an Inspection environment
- HNC in one of the following areas:
- Engineering
- Management
- Business Studies
- or a minimum of previous experience in a similar position with knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry.
