Responsible for driving the Simplification agenda and Implementation of NPD projects
As a member of the innovation team you will play a key role in managing New Product Development(NPD) and Simplification projects across the categories in the European Branded Division and be the main interface between Marketing and Supply Chain.
More specifically once a product or Simplification proposition has been defined and the business case has been approved it is the person’s role to ensure the project gets through the development process and ready for launch as Commercial lead. Furthermore, is responsible for continuously driving the Simplification agenda across the European branded categories from fueling the pipeline of ideas, securing proper validation, continuously driving execution and tracking execution.
The position reports to the International Innovation Director, Europe Branded Division.
The location of the position is in Gentofte, Denmark where the Scandinavian Tobacco Group HQ is located.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Unified NPD project management expertise that from commercial side leads the interface with Operations on NPD projects across cigar and packaging
- Simplification project lead responsible for driving Simplification agenda from idea through validation to execution and securing continuous tracking on simplification pipeline in collaboration with relevant Operation teams
- Facilitates and drives bi-weekly project meetings for the product development community (commercial and supply chain)
- Plan and coordinate commercial product development activities to ensure timely and rightly completion (artwork approvals, artwork deliveries, artwork printing, product and test materials etc.)
- Maintain consistency and accuracy of information flow and project documentation between commercial and supply chain teams
- Champions and facilitates execution of the NPD Development Process and documentation of high standard
- Develop and implement best practices in commercial to optimize and speed up product development procedures
- Identify areas of improvements and concerns and recommend improvements
What is needed to succeed?

- Strong project management skills
- Supply Chain experience – preferably with packaging and product development within Tobacco or leading FMCG
- Experience with Simplification projects – preferably within Tobacco or leading FMCG
- Solid commercial understanding and experience with business case creation
- Cross-functional team leadership-skills informing stakeholders on expected contributions
- Knowledge of NPD processes and new SKU creation/delisting from a commercial side
