Planning and executing a truly global HR strategy that supports the corporate long term business plan and strategy takes a team effort – and an outstanding project manager for a period of time.
We are looking for a Project Manager for Group HR who will handhold the process from planning to executing the HR strategy in the organisation. The job is an interim position of 12-18 months.

Join the team
At the beginning of 2021, Scandinavian Tobacco Group announced the 5-year strategy “Rolling Towards 2025” and later this year we will announce our HR strategy.
We have been working on the HR strategy for some time and are now in the planning phase. And this is where we need you, our Project Manager, to take us safely through the process towards the end goal, the embedding of the HR strategy with stakeholders well onboarded to the plan and the changes of focus.
You will drive the project management of the strategy ensuring that all relevant team members do what is needed in time, stakeholders are informed as planned and our CHRO is in the know at all times. You will coordinate, track progress and ensure risk management in a professional manner.
Your closest colleagues will be the HR leadership team with whom you will be working daily, ensuring that the project is moving forward as planned. You are also the one building the material for HR leadership team meetings, meetings with the Executive Board and also the broader communication to the HR community and the organisation.
Working with the implementation of a new strategy also means that some change management will be necessary.
What we’re looking for
You know what it takes to be successful in the role of HR Project Manager if you have experience with strategic projects from other jobs. Project management is key to the success in this role as well as your stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
You are ambitious on the team’s behalf having a proven track record with a strong execution mindset, high satisfaction with your stakeholders and stellar change management plans.
It is an advantage if you have worked with the ADKAR model and the ProSci toolbox on change management.
As we are an international company you need to be fluent in English, written and spoken, as this is our corporate language. And your power point and excel skills must be extraordinary.

Our HR community is a truly global team with very competent people around the globe from Indonesia and Sri Lanka, over several locations in Europe to the US, Honduras, Nicaragua and The Dominican Republic.
