Responsible for driving profit growth agenda through strategic projects around innovation and simplification
With this role you will be driving our strategic NPD projects agenda across our core categories and work in close collaboration with the brand teams and operations towards the development of new innovative ideas and turn them into successful products for the company. On top you will be driving the annual Innovation/ Simplification ideation workshops that is a key input into our commercial plan agenda.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
The position reports to the International Innovation Director, Europe Branded Division.
The location of the position is in Gentofte, Denmark where the Scandinavian Tobacco Group HQ is located.

Furthermore, we expect that you:

Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Drive strategic projects with the objective of commercial value for the organization
- Contribute to the development of new and innovative products as well as developing our current brand portfolio
- Utilizing your creativity to enhance our market position even further.
- Unified NPD project management expertise that from commercial side leads the interface with Operations on NPD projects across cigar and packaging
- Facilitates and drives bi-weekly project meetings for the product development community (commercial and supply chain)
- Plan and coordinate commercial product development activities to ensure timely and rightly completion (artwork approvals, artwork deliveries, artwork printing, product and test materials etc.)
- Maintain consistency and accuracy of information flow and project documentation between commercial and supply chain teams
- Champions and facilitates execution of the NPD Development Process and documentation of high standard
- Develop and implement best practices in commercial to optimize and speed up product development procedures

What is needed to succeed?

Furthermore, we expect that you:
- have at least 5 years of post-school experience within Consumer Insights, Marketing Innovation or Brand Management backed by a strong theoretical background
- have accumulated significant insights into consumers in general, along with a proven track record of driving business development at either an account or a market level
- have a solid business understanding is a must, and experience with project management is a definite advantage
- like to challenge conventions when finding new approaches to get things moving. You have a serious appetite for walking that extra mile – every single day.
