Job description
As our new Senior Project Manager, you will be fully responsible for your own projects throughout the project lifecycle. Your software and systems engineering heavy projects will support several application areas and focus primarily on product development and sustainment in an agile organizational setup.
You will become a key person in setting the direction for the future of our Technology & Innovation project management discipline, as you will be working across segments within our organization. A part of your job will be to support and guide our talented Project Managers across the PMO.
The project management activities include project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and project status reporting as well as balancing value-adding project frontloading.
By being visible and following up on performance, you create understanding and commitment to project progress from everyone. This is further supported by your ability to foresee risks and address uncertainties, and by handling the associated preventive and mitigating actions in time.
To a large extent, your success depends on your ability to manage stakeholders by means of communication and negotiation, and how you handle change requests throughout the project planning and execution phases.
Additionally, you will be involved in estimation of opportunities being pursued in sales and business development as well as product management.
At times, you must be prepared for a challenging and dynamic environment. You must also count on some travelling – primarily domestic – when success depends on it.

Your professional qualifications
- You have a proven track record in delivering projects on-scope, on-time and on-cost
- Ability to lead large, complex Software- and Systems Engineering-heavy projects
- Strong experience with project risk management and project change management
- You possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- You have an inspirational leadership style, powerful business acumen, and deep technical understanding
- You hold a MSc or BSc in Engineering or similar relevant education
- +5 years of working experience from a similar position level, preferable within a similar domain (highly regulated)
- PMI Project Management certificate and experience with cyber security will be perceived as an advantage
- You have robust experience working with product platforms in an agile development environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English
