BoConcept A/S, Herning, is searching for a Project Manager to ensure the physical build-up of BoConcept Brand Stores worldwide

BoConcept is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the global development of BoConcept, by on time opening conceptual new and re-located stores at relevant locations.

Structured and effective project management supporting the global sales strategy


As Project Manager you will be responsible for the physical build-up of BoConcept Brand Stores worldwide. You will take part in the entire project phase – from preliminary development meetings with the franchisee – to hand-over of a new BoConcept Brand Store.

You will handle approximately 15 projects per year. Each project usually spans 3-4 months, meaning that you will be working on more projects at the same time. You will be responsible for the investment budget, manage the construction and fitting of the showroom and in addition to this you will have ongoing dialogues with store owners, sub-suppliers and colleagues. You must also ensure that the entire project team meets the specified deadlines.

As a Project Manager you will be planning and implementing projects, involving the following tasks:

  • Preparation and approval of, as well as compliance with, time schedules and investment budgets.
  • Coordination with many different stakeholders from both internal departments, suppliers and franchisees.
  • Follow-up on project KPI’s insuring the overall project quality.

You will primarily be working from our headquarters in Herning, Denmark, and it is expected that you will be travelling between 50-70 days per year, all over the world.

As Project Manager you will play a key role in BoConcept Property & Expansion that handles BoConcept Brand Store openings worldwide. We are working together in an informal environment, where good working relationship and sense of responsibility are crucial.

Your background is not essential but the ideal candidate can recognize:

  • 5-7 years of experience as Project Manager in an international, retail company
  • A formal Project Management education and/or relevant Project Management certificate

The job covers a wide area, which calls for a holistic approach to solving the different tasks and projects. Your energy level, high spirits and drive enable you to establish contacts and good relations, in addition to which you demonstrate strong communication skills when communicating across the entire organization.

You are ambitious, analytical and methodical. You have attention to detail and understand the importance of complete, coordinated and documented project solutions. You possess excellent leadership skills and understand the value of stakeholder management. You are used to managing your own tasks and have a robust and persistent disposition.

As we are working in an international environment, you must be able to speak and write English at negotiation level. German, French and Spanish skills are an asset. Experienced AutoCAD user, and knowledge of Revit is considered an advantage.
