About the department and the position
As Nel Hydrogen projects includes a wide range of technics, the T&D organization is organized in several technical skills: Project, Documentation, Process, Electrical, Mechanical, CAD, Software and Test. Projects follow the Nel Hydrogen product development process and will have technical sponsors from the rest of the T&D Department - to secure input for specifications. While projects are coordinated by Project Managers the technical teams are responsible for the development of the design packages, while interacting with other T&D Teams.
As Senior Process Engineer you will be part of the Systems Engineering Team, and you will be technical responsible for the development of process design packages for equipment ranging from simple to extremely complex systems. You will be focusing on design, flow, controls, safety, testing and you will be optimizing performance of the refueling stations. As Senior Process Engineer you will be in a lead position and is expected to be focusing on proactive decision making and pushing projects forward.
Your tasks will include:
You will work closely with your colleagues in the Systems Engineering Team, as well as with rest of the T&D organization, Service Department and Production. You will report directly to the Team Lead for the Systems Engineering Team and your place of work will be the facility in Herning, Denmark.
About you
You possess relevant educational background for example as Marine Engineer and have more than 7 years of experience in Process Engineering or Commissioning Engineering preferable within Oil and Gas industry. You know the scope of process development, and have high technical competence within thermodynamics regarding fluids mechanics involving flow, pressure, temperature and cooling parameters. You are experienced in developing Process Flow Diagrams PFDs and Process & Instrumented Diagrams (PIDs). If you are familiar with safety studies such as FMEA, Hazop, Lopa and if you are able to develop MatLab models to verify process performance it is a plus.
You have a strong technical- and business-orientated mindset, are curious, and can quickly understand and explain complex technical systems. You are open minded and able to interact with other team members. You have lead personality with high focus on performance, proactive behavior, result oriented and knows how important it is to follow up on deliverables, ensuring that everything runs according to plans. You are a strong communicator and are able to visualize your ideas to your team colleagues. You are inspiring, motivating yourself and able to encourage other team members. You are able to develop technical documentation using MS-Office software. You excel at working independently and in teams, and you are experienced working in or with international organizations. You are highly skilled in both written and spoken English and Danish.

- Simulations and calculations of capacity, pressure, temperature and flow
- Simulations and innovations of new processes
- Design and develop Process & Instrumentation Diagrams PIDs
- Ensure that overall basic process specification, defined by technical sponsor, are fulfilled
- Contact to suppliers of components and approval authorities
- Risk assessments
- Testing to verify specification compliance
- Documentation and approval processes
