The position As a Portfolio Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will deliver portfolio analysis and insights to the DDS organization supporting strategic and portfolio decision-making. You will provide data-driven transparency and business intelligence using value-adding tools and frameworks to guide project prioritization, track project progress, and allocate resources within DDS. Furthermore, Apply your knowledge and understanding of portfolio management, product development, and life cycle management to drive strategic decision-making. Your main tasks include: Delivering data analysis and insights to support DDS Strategic Development, governance decision base, and Head of DDS Portfolio & Strategy Management Driving the development of portfolio management overviews and data analysis. Identifying opportunities, industry trends, and insights to provide valuable portfolio analysis. Supporting the DDS organization with data insights to enable effective portfolio decision-making. Collaborating closely with other portfolio functions within Novo Nordisk to ensure consistency and robust portfolio management. Utilizing your experience and data insights to support the DDS Programme Management team and DDSLT areas. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we believe you should: Hold a master’s degree in business, engineering, data science, or a related area. Bring a minimum of 3 years of experience within the field of expertise and possess pharmaceutical industry knowledge. Demonstrate the ability to identify better practices and create improvements in methods, techniques, approaches, etc. Have strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and databases. Possess fluency in both written and spoken English. As a person, you are proactive in identifying problems and solutions, capable of independently structuring and handling complex tasks, highly result-driven, and possess solid business understanding, along with excellent analytical and communication skills. About the department The Portfolio Strategy & Management is a team of 4 talented colleagues, part of DDS Strategic Development, a central function in the DDS SVP area (400+ FTEs). As part of DDS Strategic Development, we leverage a strong link to the external landscape to drive the strategic development of the DDS organization to effectively build and progress a leading pipeline of delivery solutions. We drive strategy development and drive and facilitate execution through a combination of strategic resource allocation, portfolio strategy, and management. Our main goal is to enable decision-making through data and insights into internal and external trends and opportunities. We safeguard the direction and ambition levels for the DDS portfolio. We are a trusted partner providing tools, practices, and data insights to enhance portfolio transparency and execution, striving to do business in a financially, environmentally, and socially responsible way.
