Ballard Power Systems Europe A/S is looking for a Project Manager to join the Technology Solutions department based in Hobro, Denmark. You will be offered knowledge about the whole organization and product offerings within different markets facilitating a wide range of different career paths.
You will report directly to the Technology Solutions Manager based in Hobro and become part of the Technology Solutions team consisting of 10 dedicated specialists with sufficient technical knowledge of different areas. You and your colleagues in the team manage projects within all the represented key markets of Ballard Power Systems Europe A/S.
Ballard Power Systems is the leading global provider of clean energy and fuel cell solutions. In Europe, Ballard’s focus is on the following key markets: Bus, Truck, Rail, Marine and Stationary Power Market. Ballard’s zero-emission fuel cell products provide solutions to some of the world’s most pressing environmental issues and opportunities.
As their Project Manager, you are authorized to run the project on a daily basis on behalf of the Business Owners within the prescribed scope. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the project delivers the required products within the specified limits for time, cost, quality, scope and risks.
Additional responsibilities will be to:
- Coordinate day-to-day activities in relation to effective execution of projects ensuring deliverables are on spec, on time and within budget
- Prepare periodic reporting to manage risk while mapping essential actions which are to be taken
- Plan and implement customer projects according to the applicable quality management system
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers and other involved stakeholders
You will be required to travel a maximum of 14 days per quarter related to projects located in destinations spread across the globe such as the US, Australia, and Germany.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within project management preferably from a variety of products or industries
- MSc/BSc within the engineering field, i.e. mechanical engineering
- Experience with managing a project portfolio, including resources, materials and budget
- Fluent level in English both spoken and written
