Project Manager to Sales Support


Are you the project manager that successfully drives commercial technology projects and has a passion for customer satisfaction and delivery on time? For our client LED iBond, INCIPIA is looking for an experienced Project Manager for our Sales Support team, who will be in the front seat of delivering state-of-the-art LED technology in cooperation with Sales to the customers.

About the position


You will be part of Sales Support in the Projects Team and report directly to the Project Director, who is part of the management team.

This role is responsible of driving new customer-requested sales and service projects in cooperation with Sales.

LED iBond is on a significant growth journey utilizing its unique solution portfolio. The Project Manager will play a significant role in securing high success-rate with customer-requested projects by delivering the solutions timely and with a high degree of quality, while optimising the earnings for LED iBond.

The Project Manager will play an important, central role in the future success of LED iBond through being the key driver for cross-functional project coordination in order to be capable of delivery of exceptional customer solutions in time. The role is new, so the right candidate will have a lot of influence, responsibility and freedom regarding how this key role develops.

Objective of the role


The role as Project Manager is responsible for supporting sales by driving efficient sales support projects focussing on timely delivery of the right solution within a given budget framework.

Primary responsibilities


The position is a key role in delivering high quality solutions to customers on time. The primary responsibilities are

  • Handling projects from customer request to delivery of product/service.
  • Development and follow-up on project plans.
  • Owning, administering and optimising the project process.
  • Identifying project-related risks and mitigating through proactive actions and action plans.
  • Identifying possible delays and unforeseen issues and navigating proactively to secure customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting to the management team of progresses made and action plans to mitigate issues.
  • Being the primary contact between Sales, Supply Chain and in some cases Product Development.
  • Following-up and reporting on projects’ resource-spending and hourly accounts.

About you


Professional experiences


The right candidate is a strong project manager with both technical skills and commercial flair.

The professional experiences comprise:

  • Minimum 3 years as a project manager of larger technical projects.
  • Strong experience with driving technical, customised projects with products or services.
  • Experience with lighting, IoT or electronics is an advantage but not compulsory.
  • Experience from working cross-functional in the commercial/technical sphere is an advantage.

Educational background


The right candidate has an engineering/technical degree (Min. BSc or similar) from Electro or Mechanical Engineering. Perhaps with a hands-on installation training.

  • Self-driven and taking ownership of both assigned tasks as well as the journey of the company.
  • Out-going person with strong personal interest in people, who is great at developing relationships, internally and externally.
  • Uses business understanding to gather deeper understanding about how LED iBond’s solutions will affect customers’ business and business model.
  • Has a customer-oriented mindset. Works great in the span between customer interests/needs and LED iBond solutions.
  • A strong communicator, internally and externally. In this job, there is a need for timely and direct, honest communication.
  • Fluent in speaking and writing in both one of the Scandinavian languages and English.
