The Position
In this newly established position, you will be responsible for the robotics team and for securing the design and implementation of robotics / Industry 4.0 solutions that make manual operations / transactions obsolete. These solutions might involve robotics, automated logistic solutions (AGV and AGR), or automated instruments/tools. Your focus will be to manage the team and integration suppliers that design, build and test the solutions. You will work across different facilities and engage with multiple teams within the project organisation, e.g. process areas, supply chain, IT & automation - both internally and with our engineering partner. You will become the people manager for the robotics team members.
Qualifications We imagine that a successful candidate will have: Several years of relevant project management and/or people management within robotics, IT or automation Experience from a regulated process industry A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, IT, supply chain, or a similar field Solid understanding of mechanics, robotics, automated logistics, and lean thinking Fluent English proficiency - both verbal and written. On a personal level, you are result-driven and can secure teamwork and close collaboration across projects and organisations. You can ride a storm off and are a strong motivator for others. You thrive in a multicultural environment that demands independence to make critical decisions. Building structure comes naturally to you, and you enjoy implementing simplicity. About the department
