With the implementation of Microsoft D365 F&O, DFDS have embarked on a digital transformation across HR, Finance and Procurement.
The ERP program supports DFDS’ “Win23” strategy and has high attention and prioritization within the organization.
The implementation spreads across multiple locations in the EU with an ambitious roll-out plan. To ensure that we reach the finish line, we are now looking for an additional Functional Procurement Project Manager to help ensure that all new Procurement processes will be successfully implemented.
What is the job like?
As Functional Project Manager for procurement you will be part of a very competent and international ERP project team that are implementing the D365 F&O DFDS Global template in more than 60 entities all over Europe. You will get a wide network within DFDS and will work closely with Group Procurement and Finance, local stakeholders, end-users, business change managers, system architects, test managers, D365 F&O consultants etc. You will also get the chance to improve your interdisciplinary skillset, as implementation moves across several areas of finance, procurement, and IT.
Furthermore, as the job title indicates, the role is a combination of project management and functional consulting.
On the project management side, your overall responsibility is to ensure that milestones are reached by the Procurement Track in the ERP project. This includes coordination and follow-up of all functional project activities in accordance with the overall project plan. You will be managing the functional procurement track lead who you will be working very closely together with.
On the functional side, you will be responsible for identifying local requirements and secure that the ERP system meets DFDS functional business requirements. This also means that some hands-on configuration and test in the ERP system is expected.
You will have the D365 F&O system overview, to secure the cross functional alignment, arrange and facilitate ERP workshops and meetings and train other employees in the D365 F&O system processes and configuration.

When all DFDS entities are live on D365 F&O, the Procurement Functional PM will participate in the next phases to make Procurement global processes more efficient and digital, so it will also be an important position after completion of the ERP project.

- Ensure that cross functional topics are handled from an end-to-end perspective
- Facilitate workshops to ensure that Group Procurement requirements are met and compliant with best practice
- Report project status, issues and risks
- Plan and prepare process test and UAT
- Plan and prepare end-user training
- Report bugs, handle change request and the procurement backlog

Who are we looking for?

- ERP implementation experience (preferably Microsoft ERP), either from customer or vendor side
- Experience with Procure-to-Pay processes
- Experience with Project management or knowledge of
- Knowledge about ERP systems and how it interacts with other business applications
- Knowledge of Coupa, SAP Ariba or similar
- Experience with training end-users and facilitating workshop
- A structured approach and a good understanding of processes
- Knowledge of creating test scrips and conducting tests
- Knowledge of change management in system implementations
- Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops
