We are looking for an ambitious Finance Process Specialist, who wants to engage with the whole organisation and really make a difference.
Finance Group Finance Reporting & Compliance Financial Processes, Systems Compliance
Financial Processes, Systems & Compliance, a department under Vestas Group Finance, is responsible for developing reliable Finance Systems and Processes to support Vestas Group Finance in cooperation with Global IT, as well as defining and securing global Financial Compliance. We cover SAP ERP, SAP BI and SAP BPC solutions.
As Group Finance Process Specialist, you will be part of the Financial Processes, Systems & Compliance team in the Group Finance organisation. As responsible for the Global Financial Processes you will work closely together with our Global Finance Shared Service Center in Manila and your Financial Processes, Systems & Compliance colleagues in Denmark.
You will work with the Vestas Finance Community to make the financial processes as efficient, consistent and simple as possible. You will be responsible for ensuring that our financial processes are well documented and support the way the finance organization operates. Together with the Financial Compliance team you will ensure that the financial processes incorporate the control activities from the Vestas Control Framework. Together with the Vestas Finance Community you will safeguard the Global implementation of new and amended financial processes.

Responsibilities
- Approve new financial process implementations or review proposed changes to existing processes
- Create efficiency and consistency in Vestas global financial processes and controls incl. ensuring Vestas follow the framework for global financial processes
- Create and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) supporting Vestas global financial processes
- Support Financial Compliance with identifying major risks impacting financial reporting and implementing control to reduce risks to an acceptable level
- Review Controls set by Financial Compliance and support on guidance (how to be performed by business)
- Drive optimisation and automation of financial processes and controls through simplification, standardisation and consolidation of activities
- Create awareness and understanding of financial processes within the Finance Community through governance, user forums etc.
Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelor or Master's degree within Finance, Controlling or similar from a good University
- Minimum 5 years' work experience from finance in an international company
- Strong knowledge and experience within SAP ERP is a requirement. Experience with SAP roll outs or large SAP projects is an advantage
- Experience with Finance Process mapping and improvements is a requirement
- Ability to assess risks in a given process and suggest value adding control activities to reduce risks to an acceptable level is a requirement
- Experience with Business/Financial controlling in complex environments is an advantage
- Lean Six Sigma Certified, White belt trained or with knowledge in process improvement methodologies is an advantage
