We are looking for a skilled and experienced Program Manager to supervise DTU and Lederne’s unique Master in Sustainable Leadership program. The Master in Sustainable Leadership is a radically new 60 ECTS Master program designed to equip future leaders with the leadership skills that enable them to systemically understand and operationalize sustainability, and bring about positive societal impact. It uniquely brings learning out of the classroom, integrating science-based content into real-world cases and projects, including in participants’ own companies.
As Program Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, delivery and overall success of the Master in Sustainable Leadership program. You are passionate about sustainability, leadership, and supporting the future changemakers and leaders in implementing sustainable transitions within their organizations to create a better world. You will join a high performance team of professors, program directors and coordinators working in a collaborative and dynamic international atmosphere with a focus on leveraging the latest science, research and innovation for instigating and executing sustainability in Danish society and beyond. In the area of technical and natural sciences, DTU is one of the leading research and education institutions in Europe, and your work with internal and external stakeholders will contribute to the development of DTU Executive Education.

As part of the role, you will:
- Lead recruitment of high caliber student cohorts each year, including:
- Coordination with marketing teams and developing engaging content
- Following prospective participants from initial interest until acceptance into the program
- Ensuring streamlined day-to-day program and content management, including:
- Ensuring topic linkages and threads throughout all courses and modules
- Supporting faculty during teaching days and facilitation of occasional course debriefs and group discussions
- Ensure the students are well supported throughout their entire academic journey, including supporting them during the Immersive Learning Projects and Personal Leadership Development modules of the program
- Managing the overall program development and coordination, including:
- Developing semester plans, course syllabi, and course preparation in collaboration with program director(s), faculty, and relevant administrative and cooridation teams
- Supporting and coordinating the program’s two international study trips
- Coordinating the program steering group and academic advisory group
- Managing program budgets and reporting
About you
- You are an excellent coordinator and manager. You are detail-oriented, can manage complicated programs and schedules, and plan well in advance, but you do so from a content-driven perspective, helping the program best deliver its academic learning objectives.
- You are comfortable facilitating in groups, and/or are developing your facilitation skills. You may not be a content expert, but you excited to be immersed in the Master in Sustainable Leadership content and are excellent at following and contributing to facilitating relevant discussions and debriefs for participants.
- You embrace a growth mindset and share knowledge. As an authentic team player, you display a positive, constructive attitude with your collaborators.
- You are good at quick problem solving, coming up with innovative solutions, and supporting changes and modifications in a dynamic learning environment.
- You are a proactive self-starter, taking ownership of full processes from start to end to experiment and find the best path forward.
Your past experience ideally includes
- A strong track record in managing complex, dynamic programs, as a program manager or in another project-based position involving delivering educational or training content in unique learning environments
- Experience in recruiting (e.g. marketing and sales) and onboarding program participants is strongly preferred
- Excellent command of project/program management techniques and tools for keeping track of program details and budgets
- Academic background – Bachelor or Master degree
