JOIN OUR GLOBAL ADVISORY DEPARTMENT IN LYNGBY
In Global Advisory, you will become part of COWI's Climate and Green Transition (CGT) and Sustainable Urban Development (SUD) market teams. The CGT and the SUD market teams count around 50 skilled experts who secure our customers the lead in making decisions for tomorrow. We support policy development, institutional and societal change within climate, green transition and sustainable development. For this position, the focus will be on the green economy, natural resources management, climate change, and sustainable urban development, and resilience.
DESIGN THE FUTURE WITH A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS
In this position, you will join our global team of experts and work closely with the Market Directors of the Climate and Green Transition and Sustainable Urban Development teams. Your finest task will be to manage projects and proposals for a variety of donors. You can be based in our head office in Lyngby or in our Brussels office or in other locations. And you will work together with a team of consultants dedicated to providing high quality consultancy services to our clients.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:

To succeed in this position, you should be a team player with strong project management, tender management, and coordination skills. You should be good at ensuring alignment between the client's success criteria and the deliverables produced. Further, you have strong team leadership and communication skills and a good eye for business.
We are looking for a profile who works well in a multidisciplinary setting, has strong analytical skills, likes to drive projects and tender processes to success, and has a large global network.
Furthermore, you should:
Hold a Master's degree in Natural Resource Economics or Management, Urban Planning, Geography, Public Administration, or similar.
Have at least eight to ten years of experience in consulting, and at least five years as a project manager in a consultancy company with the following profile:

- Manage projects and proposals for our key clients, mainly European Investment Bank, EuropeAid, Danida, World Bank, ADB and other international financing institutions
- Manage teams of consultants to deliver high-quality deliverables to our clients
- Design methodologies and supervise and quality assure work
- Provide consultancy input to our projects and analytical assignments.
- Manage client relations and collaborations across several partners.

- Experience in at least some of the following areas: green growth, climate change, adaptation and mitigation, climate action and impact of climate change on migration and conflicts, broader natural resources management, sustainable urban development
- Experience with consultancy services to (at least some of) our main clients; EIB, WB, EuropeAid, Danida, ADB and other international financing institutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- It is an advantage if you master other European languages; French would be an added advantage.
