The Position We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager to join our Project Execution Team within the Fill & Finish Expansions. This Programme is a branch of Novo Nordisk dedicated to building the future production facilities with several global sites through big CAPEX projects. You will be responsible for running cross-functional projects across several different job families (i.e. cross-function optimisation and development projects). You may be responsible for organizing project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements. In this role, the main tasks will be to:
• Provide clear goals and purpose for the project and the project team members
• Support key decisions to be made throughout the project, including milestones
• Select and apply essential project management tools and methods
• Create effective and transparent systems, structures and processes to drive the project. Your workplace will be based in Lyngby, but as there is collaboration required on a global scale with our sites based in Europe, China, Brazil and the US, some international travel will be required. It is estimated that this will be 5-10 percent of the time. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree within social sciences, engineering or similar and have minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Additionally, you should have:
• Experience running a project independently
• The ability to analyze complex problems and provide solutions to overcome obstacles and create progress in the project
• The ability to create and conduct simple Power Point presentations and facilitate meetings and workshops effectively
• Experience in creating a project plan that outlines the project scope, workstreams, timeline, milestones, governance, RACI, risks and resource allocation
• Ability to see opportunities in shifting contexts and deal with high levels of complexity
• Confidence in adjusting project plans when needed.
For this position, it is required to be fluent in spoken and written English. As a person, you are naturally good at collaborating and communicating, and you are a great team player. You are proactive, solution-oriented and you have a high complexity mindset. Furthermore, you can manage a high workload at times, and you are flexible in moving across various projects. About the Department
As a member of our team, you will be part of a Project Management Office (PMO), which consists of over 35 professionals dedicated to enabling, driving, and supporting initiatives to ensure the successful execution of our projects. The PMO provides a wide array of functionalities, including controlling functions, executive office support, and development initiatives. Within the PMO, you will join the Project Execution Team, which core deliverables include driving project improvement initiatives, coordinating across the project portfolio, removing project progress blockers, and maintaining and prioritizing improvement/blocker backlogs. The team is divided into three workstreams: Executive Office, Task Force, and Project Portfolio, each with its own specific focus and responsibilities.
