Opportunity awaiting you

As a Portfolio Manager, you will be part of the management team and responsible for co-developing and refining our portfolio management strategy, implementing financial transparency (including performance monitoring), and acting as a key liaison between various stakeholders. You will also oversee key resource management activities and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities:
  • Co-develop and refine portfolio management with key stakeholders; advise on demand intake and priorities based on strategic relevance and impact.
  • Implement performance monitoring to track progress, resource usage, TCO, and outcomes/value, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Act as a key liaison between product teams, the Finance Manager, department heads, and external stakeholders to ensure transparent communication, alignment, and support.
  • Support department managers with monthly budget variance explanations and drive the funding model, including handling chargebacks.
  • Oversee and support resource management activities, ensuring optimal utilization of resources across the portfolio and identifying potential risks.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by incorporating feedback and lessons learned into future portfolio plans and strategy adjustments.

  • Skills we look for: To be considered for the position, you should have:
  • 5-8 years of experience in relevant full-time positions.
  • A Master’s Degree in Finance, International Business, Economics, or an equivalent field.
  • Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems, as well as proven business-controlling skills.
  • Solid experience with the MS Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Consulting experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English.

    You will be part of the Digital Products and Software Engineering, which is the in-house digital product engineering organization of Novo Nordisk. We drive tech leadership through innovative software products and platform solutions, combining deep expertise in software engineering and user needs with an efficient, compliant, and scalable delivery model. Our department is responsible for designing, developing, and operating digital solutions that set new standards in the industry. We focus on creating robust, user-friendly software products and platforms that meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This is how we excel and set new standards for designing, developing, and operating digital solutions. As part of the management team, you will oversee the entire portfolio and support each area by measuring the value of their portfolio, including managing financial agreements, together with our finance partner.
