Hobbii is looking for a Project Manager to our Tech team - someone who has a broad technical understanding and who's ready to take on project management from the initial scoping of a project to its completion in close dialogue with business owners, UX’er and developers.
We need an additional force who is easy-going, can proactively run projects and is not afraid of a challenge. Besides Hobbii, you will be part of an ambitious group of 3 fast-growing eCommerce companies, that’s why you have a natural ability to build long term relationships.
Our Tech department is at the heart of Hobbii - serving more than a million orders a year, delivered all over the world, from our HQ in Rødovre, Denmark. We are at an incredibly exciting stage where you will be able to really make a difference together with an ambitious and fun department.
Aim for the sky
We recently won the 2020 Gazelle award for the fastest growing company in Denmark, which is a proof of all the amazing and ambitious people we have at Hobbii. We are expanding with rocket speed and need some more talented people to help us grow even further. So generally, building something from scratch should excite you rather than terrify you... But don't worry, you won't be doing this alone; in the past year, we welcomed more than 190 people to our team from various backgrounds such as Bonnier, Pleo, GoMore and Google. We have plenty of ideas of how we should grow in the future and we are looking for more talented people to help us with this.

Hobbii is an eCommerce scaleup selling yarn, knitting and crochet accessories to dedicated yarn lovers in 35+ countries. We’re a Danish company with an international outlook and we’ve recently launched a number of physical stores and aim to hit 50 stores within 3 years to supplement our online sales.

The nitty-gritty skills needed:
- Great communicator both in 1:1 relations and at presenting a clear message in front of an audience
- At least a couple of years experience with tech development and IT
- A positive and adaptable mindset as every day brings something new and challenging
- Independent, take ownership and are always on top of projects
- You are structured, committed and can motivate the team to deliver their best
- Fluent in English (yes we are 13 nationalities in the tech team only!)
We’d be thrilled if you:
- Have experience with facilitation and group dynamics
- Have a basic understanding of UX, Design and Agile project management
- And maybe you have a bit of experience with programming
