Project Associate/Junior Project Manager for Power to X-projects

European Energy covers all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, from early project development to operation and divestment of the assets as well as PtX. We are 360+ employees with 30 different nationalities, and since 2004 we have installed more than 100 renewable projects representing a total value of more than DKK 15 billion. Currently, we have a development pipeline exceeding 25 GW and operate globally with our head quarter located in Copenhagen and offices in Sweden, United Kingdom, Romania, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, and more to come. Our mission is to be significant in the global transition to a fossil free society.
You will be part of our PtX department which today consists of 19 committed colleagues. We are currently working on several utility scale projects in Denmark as well as North and South America.
We are looking for a Project Associate or a Junior Project Manager (depending on experience and qualifications). In the position, you will find yourself in an environment with a big variation of interesting tasks. You will quickly become familiar with technical as well as financial and administrative details of our PtX projects and contribute to organize internal and external work streams.
In collaboration with your highly experienced and motivated commercial, legal, and technical colleagues, you will contribute to assessing feasibility and potential of projects and bringing them to the ready-to-build stage. As such, you will be an integral part of the development of new projects, and you will assist with coordinating and obtaining all relevant permits for the PtX projects that are in your portfolio.
You will also prepare material and documents for project meetings and ensure that all deadlines are met while continuously maintaining an overview of the progress of each project in your portfolio. You will liaise with external partners, including counterparties to relevant commercial agreements and lenders.
As a person, you are enthusiastic and with your structured approach to the tasks, ready to make a difference. You create an overview in an environment where you solve several tasks in parallel, and where you are an important part of achieving our company goals. Your way of working is structured and efficient, while being action-oriented and able to act in a changing everyday life.
We expect you to be a skilled communicator both in writing and in speech, and you can target your communication to the reader.

Your profile:
- You have 2-5 years of relevant experience
- You have some experience – and a keen interest in – working with complex projects
- You have a technical, commercial, or legal background
- You have full professional proficiency in Danish
- You enjoy working with a diverse range of tasks and have a skillset that enables you to structure and keep track of the tasks
- You have experience working in an international work environment and you are great at cooperating with other people
- You can keep your head calm also when many tasks are approaching deadline simultaneously
- You are structured but thrive working in an agile atmosphere
- It is an advantage if you have experience with energy or process plants or experience with planning/permitting processes in Denmark
