Do you have a passion for creating digital products that enable data insights to guide key decisions in the clinical trial process from early trial design to closure? We are now seeking talented Product Owners at various levels of seniority (senior to director level) to join our team and drive the development of digital products within the space of trial operational data insights. The position The Product Owner within trial operational data insights plays a pivotal role in driving the development of digital products that give co-workers working across the clinical development value chain valuable input. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and discovery to launch, and will have the autonomy to make strategic decisions that drive the product forward. The product teams use agile approaches, thus we anticipate you to be familiar with them. Your key responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of one or more digital products from discovery to delivery and be accountable for the desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features and deliver solutions that meet customer needs and drive business value.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the strategic goals set by business owners.
  • Communicate product vision and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Qualifications To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:
  • Master’s degree in life science, computer science, or another similar field.
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Product Owner or in similar role in the development of digital products.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries is very preferable.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization techniques combined with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
  • Background working in an agile development environment, preferably in a global and complex organization.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and oral English to drive and share the storytelling and product vision across all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
  • On a personal level, you enjoy working in a diverse team of professionals and you are comfortable with challenging status quo across seniority levels. You have a track record of successful collaborations and are good at communicating complex ideas. A user-centric approach, business acumen, and strong prioritisation and problem-solving skills would be important. About the department You will join a newly established department within Clinical Digital Innovation area focussed on leveraging data insights to do the right trials right. The department consists of passionate people with diverse backgrounds – all working on creating world class digital products. We drive the entire product process from idea to decommission including product discovery, strategy, portfolio mindset, operations, prioritization and decommission.
