What’s the role about?
You will be the Scrum Master for an existing and seasoned product team that has worked together for a while. Their product is “in use”, is popular among its users and has a complex and valuable roadmap ahead of them. Your task will be to support the team, continue their maturing of themselves, their processes, and the product through instilling the agile core values.
We expect you to: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team and the wider organization Through the application of metrics drive a data driven maturity allowing the team to evaluate impact of all improvements Foster a collaborative and positive team environment Coach the team and its stakeholders on agile practices and principles Ensure that the team is living up to the agile principles Support the team in improving their practices through solid knowledge of the scrum framework (and other relevant frameworks, techniques, and practices) Collaborate with the Product Owner to develop and prioritize the product backlog, roadmap and O-KRs (Objectives Key Results) when needed, focusing on outcomes over output Identify and help remove impediments that hinder the team's progress On top of this, we want you to be an active member of the Digital Accelerator’s Agile Chapter, work closely with the PO and the team to shape the product backlog to establish empirical product planning. You are also to facilitate the team’s agile practices and events, including spring planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives as needed.
Candidate profile 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Strong understanding of the Scrum methodology Experience working with DevOps teams and products Scrum Master certification (CSM) is a plus We value teamwork and personal contributions to maintain a good work environment, we are further looking for a colleague who is open to feedback to grow new soft skills, works independently and attends to commitments. As our corporate language is English, we expect you to be fluent in writing and spoken English.
