If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Novo Nordisk as a Global Commercial Strategy Associate Director in our Amycretin team . Position Overview: As the Global Commercial Strategy Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our expanding obesity pipeline. Your primary responsibility will be in leading a cross functional commercial sub-team that provides commercial insights, analysis, and recommendations to the Product Development Plan. Additionally, you will participate in strategic portfolio assessments, contributing to the overall growth strategy of the obesity pipeline. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of the commercial strategy for a new therapy option for people living with obesity.
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders to drive the development of the Target Product Profile (TPP) and claims.
  • Create in-depth analytical frameworks to provide clear recommendations for strategic decisions and go to market strategy.
  • Continuously provide commercial input to the Product Development Plan, ensuring a strong focus on addressing key stakeholder needs.
  • Project manage ad hoc opportunity assessments, encompassing commercial, scientific, and regulatory aspects, in collaboration with the cross-functional team.
  • Lead work streams across the 5Ds (Drug, Data, Diagnostics, Digital, Device) to maximize project opportunities.
  • Qualifications: To be an ideal candidate, you should possess:
  • Combined with 10+ years of experience in commercial roles within pharmaceutical industry ideally at operational and global level.
  • Advanced degree in Business and/or Natural Sciences preferred.
  • Enterprise mindset with experience in commercializing within a broad portfolio, Life Cycle Management and delivering sustainable product growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data, conducting market research, and generating insights to drive product strategy.
  • Background in developing marketing strategy and leading commercial development projects.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders along the value chain.
  • Solid understanding of timelines and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • As a person, you are innovative and customer oriented. You have excellent communication skills and can effectively convey complex messages in a simple manner. You feel comfortable engaging with stakeholders at different levels and from all parts of the organization. Most importantly, you are genuinely excited about joining our journey of shaping the obesity market and making a true difference for people living with obesity. About the Department: You will join the Strategy & Projects Team in the Obesity Therapy Area in the global headquarters, and report directly to the Vice President of the team. The Obesity therapy area consists of 4 departments spanning a Health Care Professional Marketing team, Consumer & New Business Models, Market Access, and Strategy & Projects team, in which the Amycretin role is anchored.
