Søborg
Do you have a passion for working at the interface between the pharmaceutical industry, academia, and other external partners? Do you excel in collaborating with diverse stakeholders, have solid project management skills and experience with the pharmaceutical R&D value chain? If so, then we encourage you to join us on the Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) team!
The Position
As an Alliance Manager, you will be involved in the initiation of new projects, driving project success, and communicating how these provide value to Novo Nordisk across the value chain. You will use your scientific knowledge and strong project management toolbox to drive strategic PPP projects forward in close collaboration with external partners from academia, industry, public organisations, and authorities – and of course other functions across Novo Nordisk. The successful completion of our PPP projects is highly dependent on your ability to maximise the value and tangible impact from these partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders. In return, we offer a truly exciting opportunity in large project management with diverse stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
• Scoping, planning and executing project activities
• Managing project budgets and timelines
• Establishing smooth and effective collaboration within cross-organisational and international teams
• Reporting on project activities and performance
• Creating engaging presentations to internal and external stakeholders to drive buy-in and common understanding of the value of PPP projects The position is located in Søborg, Denmark, with flexibility for part-time homeworking. Our colleagues and stakeholders are diverse, and many are based internationally, and some travel is to be expected. Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience in science, communication and organisational management who can communicate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups to transform research into tangible impact. You are a team builder with a strategic mindset, great communication skills and the desire to help drive patient-centric change in the healthcare system. To be successful in this position, you have:
• Master’s or PhD degree combined with experience ideally from the pharmaceutical industry or life sciences
• Extensive project management experience in cross-functional projects
• Strong ability to communicate and present in an engaging manner
• Fluency in English and an understanding of other cultures
• Good insight to the Novo Nordisk/pharmaceutical value chain and/or life science ecosystem is an advantage
• Additionally, is a plus if you have experience with public funding, e.g. through Horizon Europe or the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI). On a personal level, you are self-driven and able to take on major responsibility, but you also thrive working alongside a strong team who believe that sharing ideas and experiences build even greater success. You have excellent planning skills, which enable you to continuously set direction, keep an overview of the state of progress and prioritise accordingly. You are able to focus on your own project and remain flexible in response to challenges and changes that can arise within our complex PPP projects. About the Department
The Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) team is part of the Strategic Operations area in Global Medical Affairs, and we have the ambition of creating true systemic change in the global healthcare system through science-based, non-competitive Public-Private Partnerships. This commitment aspires toward fundamental improvements in our shared understanding and treatment of diseases, and to change the way all stakeholders within the healthcare system work together for the benefit of patients and society.
