Project Director will drive the life cycle management activities for the portfolio of haemophilia products owned by the Global Project Team. You will chair the Global Project Team and report to the Portfolio Vice President who is heading up the department of Rare Bleeding Disorders in the area of Rare Disease & Advanced Therapies, Clinical Drug Development.
Some of your key responsibilities will be the planning and execution of initiatives to identify opportunities including driving and communicating on life-cycle management activities in the portfolio. This will include Real World Evidence generation and regulatory activities (e.g. product label expansion). You will work in close collaboration with the Global Project Team representing the full value chain of pharmaceutical product development.
The job holds ample opportunities for personal development and interactions with multiple areas involved in life-cycle management. With this position regular international travel will be required. Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in Science or Business preferably complemented with a Ph.D.
Furthermore to succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • Solid experience in pharmaceutical development with thorough value chain and business understanding acquired from positions within the R&D, including 2+ years of project/ managerial responsibility.
  • Project management experience from leading cross-functional projects, including creatively analysing business problems/issues to reach innovative, cost-effective, and timely decisions.
  • Highly structured and analytical mindset with strong process design and implementation capabilities.
  • Good coaching skills and an ability to support individuals to improve their current performance and future potential.
  • Experience dealing with a complex stakeholder landscape and you are willing to learn and embrace new ways of working as well as new ways of conducting clinical development.
  • Exceptional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, as all communication within the organization is conducted in English.
  • As a person, you have an ambitious and driven mindset with excellent collaboration skills which are enabling you to make decisions and set direction. Leading by example, you act as a Novo Nordisk Way role model by being accountable, ambitious, responsible, engaged with stakeholders, open and honest, and ready for change.
