European Energy is a Danish privately owned company in rapid growth. We cover all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, from early development to operation and/or divestment of assets. Our company of 200 employees has since 2004 installed more than 2 GW of renewable energy. We operate globally and employ 21 different nationalities at our HQ in Copenhagen and our offices in Sweden, the UK, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Poland and Spain. As our new Project Manager, you will work from our HQ in Copenhagen, heading large scale onshore wind projects through the construction phase till operation. The projects will primarily be in East and North Europe. You will be involved from the early project development stage, and make sure that we deliver on time and within scope during the construction as well as contributing during all phases in the life cycle of the projects.
You will be working with many internal and external stakeholders and coordinate and manage the different construction activities. You will be responsible for QHSE, contractual management and the general compliance of the projects. An important part of this position also entails applying any lesson learned and continuously optimizing and streamlining our project management processes.
You will see yourself in an environment with a big variation of interesting tasks. You have solid interpersonal skills to negotiate with local suppliers, service providers and communicate with stakeholders such as subcontractors, banks, etc.

You are curious and have a strong project management background where you lean upon experience and already proven processes. It is important that you have good structural skills, as you will be working in a high paced and multidisciplinary environment with complex projects.

Professional skills we expect from you
- You have at least 4 years of experience and a proven track record within project management, preferably from a similar role with large scale projects
- You have a technical and commercial understanding
- Knowledge of the renewable energy industry, primarily in wind is an advantage
- You are an expert user in MS Office
- You have completed a bachelor or master at university level or an equivalent institution within engineering or similar
- You have a project management education or certification
- You master English at a professional level
