Strategy Manager to Egmont – Copenhagen

As a Strategy Manager, you will be a part of the strategy team at Egmont HQ in the Copenhagen city center. The Corporate Strategy & Development team reports to Egmont’s CEO and you yourself will report to the VP, Head of Corporate Strategy & Development.
We offer a collegial and informal working environment with a “family-friendly” work-life balance. The team consists of 7 full-time consultants and two students. Our environment emphasizes both fun and high performance, and there is a defined career model following a typical consulting staircase. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to coach and develop junior team members and typically lead at least one in your projects and will take on a natural career path toward people leadership in the department.
In the Strategy Manager role, you will work with management in Egmont’s various businesses on strategic projects, ranging from strategy formulation and M&A to product/sales strategy and more. Your work will have deliverables to business unit management, Egmont management and the Egmont Board of Trustees

To be successful, you combine a pragmatic and “can do” attitude with excellent stakeholder relationship skills, where you can interact at all levels in an organization. It motivates you to work with ambiguity and to challenge strategic problems, where you can keep an overview of complex, competitive, market and company contexts and synthesize clear and convincing recommendations.
In your work, you demonstrate an understanding of strategy and value creation in a corporate setting and have the ability to act as a trusted advisor to management and help them shape and execute their strategic initiatives and growth agendas. - 2-5 years of experience from a Strategy practice in management consulting or experience from an internal strategy function.
- Maturity, mental flexibility, and likeability to collaborate effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders – from creatives to finance and from top management to middle-managers
- Team player who thrives in and contributes to the social and collegial environment in the strategy team
- Well-developed toolbox with regard to presentations, modelling, and project management
- Genuine curiosity and professional integrity to not settle for less than truly solving strategic issues identified
- Mastering Danish and English fluently in speech and writing
