Are you passionate about working with complex steel constructions and project management? Do you have the courage and desire to become a part of a team established to work on the company’s future assignment regarding the construction of a new data center in Sweden?
As the data center is to be built in Sweden, you are expected to be on-site for longer periods at a time together with the remaining part of the project team. When the project has been established, you will agree on the time on/off-site.
Job description
As a site manager at CSK Stålindustri you must first and foremost have the ability to cooperate in an international environment consisting of multiple nationalities. You will be the on-site representative of CSK, and responsible for maintaining a good relation to the company’s collaborators while also maintaining the company’s interests. As a site manager, you are also responsible for the project management on-site, which involves collaboration and coordination with the contractors, and management of the economy.
As a site manager, you must also act as liaison between the site and the back office function in Denmark.
Additionally, your areas of responsibility will include:
On-site you will have a mounting team from CSK and an experienced QHSE-manager that you will be in contact with on a daily note. The QHSE-manager is already an established part of the team, and the two of you will be in close collaboration, each having your own areas of responsibility.

Startup is as soon as possible, as we are planning the introduction programs on the existing data center projects in Denmark.
The expected start up on the project in Sweden is March or April 2020. The expected duration is 8-12 months.

- Taking care of daily communication on site.
- Coordination with the back office function regarding the progress of the project.
- Coordinate with the CSK QHSE site manager.

The basic project organization
Your professional profile
- You are an experienced project manager or site manager within steel and steel construction and have practical experience from a construction site. Also, you have experience managing the economy regarding projects.
- If you previously have been posted and thereby gained experience working with different nationalities, it would be an advantage.
- You can communicate well in English in both speech and writing.
- You are an experienced user of Microsoft Excel and MS Project.

- You are dynamic and hold the ability to anticipate any barriers in the execution of the project and act proactively to bypass them.
- You strive forward and focus on results, which is why you have a strong set of execution skills.
- You are responsible and focused, which makes it possible for you to act as the best possible on-site representative of CSK.
- You are diligent and hardworking, and willing to put in the extra effort needed for the project to be carried out with the greatest success possible.
- You are outgoing and communicative, and motivated by the opportunity to be a part of a project containing multiple nationalities.
