Technical Project Manager, work from home

David Kennedy Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading partner on a high end technology consulting firm who;s main focus is to solve businesses big problems powered by machine learning.

Due to expansion they are growing their client portfolio and require a Technical Project Manager to be based ideally within the UK or Ireland (already). The option to hire someone in Europe (EU passport only please) is possible an exceptional candidate.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong leadership abilities/qualities (managing multiple teams also would be essential)
• Directly able to work with VP of Engineering / Chief Architect / CTO
• Thorough understanding of super scale projects
• Proven experience in Engineering /PM / lead - looking to make next step up
• Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Self motivate/manage your own tasks and projects to agreed roadmap;
• Collaborate with team members to identify innovative ways to improve practices;
• Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques;
• Thorough knowledge of programming languages including Python, Spark as well as AWS experience;
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design;
• Great numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to work with US Time zones so important your maximum in GMT or CET location

Desirable Criteria:

• Data engineering certification is a plus
• Degree (2.1) in Computer Science, Software or Electronic Engineering or other related discipline
