This role is central to Deepocean continued success within Offshore Renewables, and you will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced, challenging but rewarding environment as we continue to grow our business into a world-leading ocean services provider within the Offshore Renewables market. The position can be basen in either Haugesund, Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger or Aberdeen.

A large part of the role will be to provide robust project deliveries in line with the business strategy and objectives. The Project Manager is responsible for building and developing a highly effective, motivated project team, to ensure safe, consistent, and profitable delivery of projects. The Deepocean project portfolio within Offshore Renewables consists mainly of (but not limited to) projects related to installation of inter array cables, replacement of IAC’s, repair of any cables and related trenching and survey services. As Deepocean`s single point of contact towards the Client, you will have the overall responsibility for resources and assets within the project.

Duties and responsibilities
· Deliver successful projects on budget.
· Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the right team is set up for the project.
· Coach and mentor the team in all aspects of the project and ensure the team are a high performing team
· Maintain and control Risk and Opportunity to ensure that risks are mitigated, and opportunities are identified and achieved.
· Take active responsibility for project HSEQS performance and focus on improving HSEQS within projects.
· Provide updates on project forecasts in terms of financial position, quality, and both delivery and financial risk.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics or other relevant education, however candidates in possession of other qualifications and/or relevant experience within the industry may be considered.
• Minimum 8 -10 years relevant project management experience within cable installation or offshore construction work.
• Demonstrated track record of developing and maintaining trusted client relationships.
• Commercial mindset and act as an ambassador for the Company when dealing with colleagues, clients, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Be able to work and communicate with colleagues at all levels in the company.
• Structure your own and others time in order to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able prioritize and have flexibility to cope with new tasks and unforeseen changes.
