We are looking for an experienced project manager with a strong IT-technical background to manage an upgrading of an existing ERP-system to a cloud solution.
The CompanyOur customer is a large international industrial group which has subsidiaries in a number of countries, including Denmark. The Group has embarked upon an upgrading of its current ERP-system and now wants to implement this upgrading in Denmark and Poland. The two countries have so far been using the same installation of the system but will after the upgrading be separated into two separate entities of the new system. To facilitate and manage an efficient upgrading process, the company has decided to engage an Interim Project Manager for a period of 6 months with a possible extension.
The AssignmentThe company is presently running an old Oracle E-Business Suite and wishes to upgrade to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. It is a one-to-one upgrading with no new customization. Only a few existing customizations and connections to reporting systems, BI, etc. will be maintained.
The role of the Project Manager will be interface between end-users and IT professionals to develop the requirements of mission critical business services and IT applications, to test them and to participate in their implementation. The Project Manager should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting, and analysis. The candidate should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks. The Project Manager may also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.
When the upgrading has been completed the Project Manager will be responsible for the separation of the system into two separate entities in Denmark and Poland.

Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Location: East Jutland but with flexibility with regard to location of permanent residence.

The CandidateWe are looking for a very experienced and very technically minded IT Project Manager with the following background:
- Strong knowledge and experience from implementing Oracle Cloud/eBS ERP projects is an absolute must.
- Strong experience in delivery and implementation working for a consultancy / systems integrator.
- Educational background in the fields of computer science or similar.
- Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector preferred in ERP deployment.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and Microsoft technologies.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum).
- Cost and risk management skills.
- Ability to make important decisions under pressure.
- Problem-solving skills and time management skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Competent handling of MS Office applications and PMP / Prince II certification is desirable.
