We offer you the exciting job opportunity to head TotalEnergies’ Public Affairs activities in Denmark and shape a new way of working with both our internal and external stakeholders.

You will be advising and working with Senior Management across our Copenhagen and Esbjerg offices and in close collaboration with the business owners, Communication, Regulatory Affairs and Commercial teams as well as TotalEnergies’ global Public Affairs network. Your responsibilities
It is your responsibility to head the strategic Public Affairs effort in Denmark and ensure that TotalEnergies’ business activities and positioning on key topics is well known externally by influencers and decision makers. You will evolve and execute the Public Affairs strategy and plan in line with the business goals and in corporation with key internal stakeholders. In this role, you must also have the overview and early insights to ensure that we can proactively address new developments in Denmark’s political and regulatory frameworks, especially within energy and climate. Together with Senior Management, the Communication teams, and business owners you will prepare and deliver engagement plans, messaging and responses. Part of your daily routine will be to develop solid relations with political and civil service stakeholders as well as industry organizations such as Dansk Offshore, Confederation of Danish Industry and Green Power Denmark. You will have a student assistant to support the Public Affairs activities.

In this role you will also:

• Develop the Public Affairs stakeholder engagement strategy in collaboration with key internal stakeholders

• Prepare clear plans on policy and influencing goals based on effective monitoring of the Danish political and media agenda.

• Develop briefings and advice to senior management on areas of sensitivity and complexity

• Proactively mitigate corporate issues to protect the company’s reputation

• Support the renewable agenda in Denmark with insights and intelligence

• Ensure that TotalEnergies is present and proactive at the right conferences and events, e.g. Folkemødet
