We are looking for

We are looking for a financial controller to join the Danish finance team, which today consists of 3 colleagues and the CFO.

We would like you to have an education, such as HD(R,) or similar and be currently working either in a Financial Controller role, with has some years of experience, or as an accountant in an audit firm.

Your accounting toolbox is strong, and you have a great knowledge of accounting practices in accordance with the ÅRL and IFRS. You have experience with - and great interest in - working with accounting and tax.

You enjoy working independently and running processes and reaching goals. With your strong financial sense, you have experience supporting the business, to deliver high quality and meet deadlines.

You take responsibility and get involved, and you are curious and professionally interested. You enjoy being part of an environment where professional sparring and development are at the forefront.

You appear competent and confident in making independent decisions and taking ownership, while at the same time spreading your enthusiasm to your colleagues.

Strong communication skills are preferable, and it is important that you have the ability to communicate in English, which is our group language.

As we work in an ever-changing market, you need to be curious when it comes to using digital tools, and if you have knowledge of working with Power BI it would be an advantage.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparation of month-end close, including reconciliation of balance sheet items
  • Preparation of material to be used for the monthly reporting
  • Managing accounts receivable
  • Managing travel expenses
  • Payroll
  • Invoicing of our consultancy department
  • Implementing procedures and internal controls locally but might also apply for the whole group
  • Various ad hoc tasks

The position is newly created, and you will be given great responsibility.

The position will have primary responsibility for the month end process, statutory and fiscal reporting, and overseeing local compliance and controls.

Your place of work will be in Herlev, but as we look for new premises, it should be expected that your place of work will be closer to Copenhagen in the near future.

The position is full time and salary dependent on your qualifications.

The salary package includes health insurance, pension scheme, gross pay scheme and canteen.

The position is to be filled as soon as possible or no later than 1 April 2020.
