Junior Financial Controller - Working in our Finance DK team in Denmark

We are a Finance organization located at the headquarter in Denmark with 70 great colleagues, including Business Finance, Tax, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting & Compliance and Financial Systems.
Globally we have +800 finance colleagues incl. approx. 130 finance colleagues in our Shared Service Center in Poland.
You will be joining Finance DK, a team located in Denmark. We are responsible for financial processes end-to-end and preparing and controlling the internal and external financial reporting of the Danish companies.

We are looking for a controller who wants to learn from experienced colleagues and grow knowledge about core finance processes.
Tasks and responsibilities
You will be working with accounting, reporting and controlling for our Danish companies.
You will be working closely with the shared service center in Poland and your colleagues in Denmark. We are aiming at “working smarter” and with the support from the team you will work on improvements in the Finance DK process developing smart solutions leveraging available IT tools. Making the best of the systems and tools we have is an important part of the job.

Your toolbox
We prefer that you have a degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or similar, along with 2-3 years of experience from an international auditing business or from controlling in an international company.

These are some of the tasks you will be involved in:
- Participate in and ensure accurate monthly/quarterly/yearly financial controlling and reporting.
- Responsible for monthly reconciliations in collaboration with shared service center in Poland.
- Participate in preparing materials for the auditors and assist the auditors in the audit process.
- Support for the yearly budget process in close collaboration with Business Finance.
- Participate in projects with the purpose of continually improving reporting and ensuring compliance.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and Group accounting guidelines.

- You have some experience with controlling and reporting processes, and an understanding of the audit process.
- You are a skilled user of IT in general and have worked with accounting/ERP systems.
- You are a structured and analytical person with numerical skills and an interest in improvements of financial processes and reporting.
- You have good communication skills in both verbal and written English.
